Thông điệp “Let’s work together to protect our blue ocean!” đã lan tỏa tình yêu thiên nhiên bằng ngôn ngữ gần gũi, sinh động. Việc tích hợp Tiếng Anh không làm thay đổi mục tiêu trọng tâm của môn Tiếng Việt mà mở rộng cơ hội giao tiếp, giúp học sinh vận dụng kiến thức ngôn ngữ vào một chủ đề thực tiễn.
Đây cũng là hướng đi thiết thực của nhà trường trong việc tăng cường môi trường sử dụng Tiếng Anh, khuyến khích học sinh mạnh dạn giao tiếp và từng bước đưa Tiếng Anh trở thành ngôn ngữ thứ hai trong trường học, phù hợp với điều kiện thực tế và lứa tuổi học sinh tiểu học.
💚 Từ bài học đến hành động – Lan tỏa trách nhiệm bảo vệ thiên nhiên
Thông qua thảo luận sôi nổi, học sinh nắm vững ý nghĩa bảo tồn động vật hoang dã và đề xuất nhiều hành động thiết thực (không tiêu thụ, bảo vệ rừng/nguồn nước, giảm đồ nhựa, tuyên truyền rộng rãi). Qua đó, các em được rèn luyện kỹ năng nói - nghe - hợp tác, sự tự tin cùng lòng nhân ái, ý thức trách nhiệm với thiên nhiên.
🤝 Lan tỏa tinh thần đổi mới – Nâng cao chất lượng giáo dục
Buổi sinh hoạt chuyên môn là dịp để cán bộ quản lý và giáo viên cùng quan sát, trao đổi, chia sẻ kinh nghiệm tổ chức hoạt động dạy học theo định hướng phát triển phẩm chất, năng lực học sinh; đồng thời gợi mở những cách làm hiệu quả trong tích hợp công nghệ số, AI và Tiếng Anh vào các môn học.
Với tinh thần đổi mới, sáng tạo và lấy học sinh làm trung tâm, chuyên đề góp phần khẳng định quyết tâm của Trường Tiểu học Đại Bản trong việc nâng cao chất lượng giáo dục toàn diện, phát triển năng lực số, tăng cường năng lực ngoại ngữ và hình thành những công dân nhỏ tuổi tự tin, chủ động, có trách nhiệm trong thời đại số.
🌱 In line with the school’s professional development plan for the 2026–2027 academic year, on October 17, 2026, Dai Ban Primary School held a school-level professional development session on the theme “Developing Grade 5 Students’ Digital Competence through Speaking and Listening Activities in Vietnamese Language Lessons.” The session featured Lesson 12: Speaking and Listening – Protecting Wildlife, taught by Ms. Nguyen Thi Dien in Class 5A1.
📚 Innovating Teaching Methods – Inspiring Students’ Active Participation and Creativity
One of the highlights of the lesson was the variety of engaging activities that encouraged students to explore the topic independently, participate in discussions, and present their ideas with confidence. Through pictures and collected reference materials, students enthusiastically discovered the diverse habitats of wild animals, including land, air, freshwater, and marine environments.
🌐 Digital Technology – Bringing Knowledge Closer to Students
In addition to actively searching for and selecting information, students confidently used digital tools and AI applications such as Canva, ChatGPT, Gemini, and CapCut to create engaging mind maps, presentations, and videos. These activities not only helped develop their communication, collaboration, creative thinking, and digital information-processing skills but also fostered awareness of safe and responsible technology use.
📚 Integrating English – Gradually Making English a Second Language in Schools
Another highlight of the lesson was the natural integration of Vietnamese and English through the theme of wildlife conservation. Students enthusiastically sang “Wild Animal Song”, and notably, two students confidently delivered a bilingual presentation in English and Vietnamese on marine animal protection.
The message “Let’s work together to protect our blue ocean!” conveyed a love of nature in an engaging and accessible way. Integrating English did not change the primary learning objectives of the Vietnamese language lesson; instead, it broadened students’ opportunities for communication and enabled them to apply their language knowledge to a real-world topic. This also represents a practical step in the school’s efforts to strengthen the English-speaking environment, encourage students to communicate with confidence, and gradually establish English as a second language in school, in a way that suits the school’s actual conditions and the developmental needs of primary school students.
💚 From Learning to Action – Spreading Responsibility for Protecting Nature
Through lively discussions, students developed a deeper understanding of the importance of wildlife conservation and proposed a range of practical actions, such as avoiding the consumption of wildlife products, protecting forests and water resources, reducing plastic use, and raising public awareness. These activities helped students strengthen their speaking, listening, and collaboration skills, build confidence, and develop compassion and a sense of responsibility for the natural world.
🤝 Promoting Innovation – Enhancing the Quality of Education
The professional development session provided an opportunity for school leaders and teachers to observe lessons, exchange ideas, and share experiences in organizing teaching and learning activities aimed at developing students’ qualities and competencies. It also offered valuable insights into effective ways of integrating digital technology, AI, and English into different subjects. With a strong commitment to innovation, creativity, and a student-centered approach, this thematic session reaffirmed Dai Ban Primary School’s determination to enhance the overall quality of education, develop students’ digital competence, strengthen their foreign language proficiency, and nurture confident, proactive, and responsible young citizens in the digital age.
